This is an idea global warming that may have some merit and worthy of investigation.
The idea is to have a pipe that can be run on the ground close to crops to extract atmospheric water in areas where there is little rainfall.

Street lighting costs your local council a considerable amount of money. In my own case a nearby town pays £800,000 per year just for street lighting.
This suggestion utilises the passing weight of traffic on a road to turn a turbine or flywheel to generate electricity which can be stored for night time use for street lights. A totally Green way of lighting our towns.
